This project uses the traditional Islamic geometry, commonly found in mosques and devoid of figurative depictions due to religious norms, to explore personal spirituality. By altering perfect geometric patterns, I represent the unique and varied expressions of faith among individuals. The project seeks to challenge the stereotypical views of Muslim identity by showcasing the beauty in imperfect, individualized geometric forms that symbolize the diverse experiences of belief.
