In my project on the Lahore Train Station, I noticed a stark disparity in the presence and comfort of women compared to men. This observation inspired me to shift the narrative of this public space. My intervention involved placing standees featuring women with provocative Urdu phrases questioning safety and rights, such as, "Do I need to have my brother next to me to feel safe?", "Am I clothed enough for you?", and "What are you looking at now?" The goal was to provoke thought and discussion about gender dynamics and women's safety in public spaces.
